Tucson, AZ (Sports Network) - Chris Burke, Trot Nixon and Chris Snyder all homered as the Arizona Diamondbacks slugged their way past the Chicago White Sox, 12-5, in spring training action.
The clubs combined for 25 hits in the contest.
Burke led off the game with a solo homer, Nixon added a two-run shot in the third and Snyder matched that feat in the seventh. Nixon also singled and walked, while Snyder added a pair of doubles in the win.
Left-hander Doug Davis tossed two scoreless innings for the Diamondbacks, allowing no hits while walking a pair and fanning one.
Jason Bourgeois had four singles for the White Sox, finally knocking in a run in the fifth. Javier Vazquez was roughed up in the start, allowing five runs -- four earned -- on five hits in 2 1/3 innings. Vazquez walked a pair and struck out three in the loss.
