Ryan Doumit went 1-for-4 with two RBI for the Pirates, who play their Grapefruit League opener Thursday against the Phillies. Yoslan Herrera pitched two innings to earn the win, as eight Pittsburgh pitchers combined for 11 strikeouts and allowed just three hits in the shutout win.
Manatee pitcher Scott Rembisz started the game, but was tagged for four runs, two earned, on four hits in just one inning of action.
