New third baseman Pedro Feliz singled in his first at-bat, then doubled in the fifth as the Phillies pounded out 12 hits. Feliz was signed to a two-year contract at the end of January after spending all eight of his seasons in the majors with San Francisco.
Moyer (1-0) allowed just one hit over three innings, walking none while fanning three. Rule 5 Draft pick Travis Blackley nearly matched that effort, yielding just one hit over three frames while striking out two.
