Ryan Theriot doubled three times and scored three runs, while Derrek Lee went 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored for the Cubs, who have won eight of nine. Marquis (6-4) gave up just one run on four hits with five strikeouts and a walk for Chicago, which moved back to .500 (40-40) and pulled within 6 1/2 games of Milwaukee for the lead in the NL Central. Corey Hart's homer accounted for the only run for the Brewers, who had won five straight series before dropping two of three to the Cubs this weekend.
