Pittsburgh, PA (Sports Network) - Ryan Klesko hit a grand slam to help the San Francisco Giants earn a 10-3 win and a split of a doubleheader with the Pittsburgh Pirates at PNC Park.

Dan Ortmeier hit a two-run home run and Rajai Davis went 2-for-4 with two runs scored for the Giants, who snapped a five-game losing streak.

Noah Lowry (13-7) who won his fourth straight decision as he gave up just two runs on six hits in seven innings of work for San Francisco, which had lost four straight to Pittsburgh after getting swept by the Pirates in a three-game series in San Francisco over the weekend and losing the opener of the doubleheader.

"I came out of the game feeling good," said Lowry. "I was up there in the pitch count. We had a big inning and it was good to see how we bounced back. That was a positive coming out of the game feeling good."

Josh Phelps, Xavier Nady and Jose Bautista each hit solo home runs for the Pirates, who had won five of seven coming into the second game.

Shane Youman (2-4) got the loss as he gave up five runs on four hits with four walks and two strikeouts in six innings of work.

"I wouldn't say the walks did it," said Youman. "Just a couple of miscues here and there. It could have been a different ballgame."

Pittsburgh honored new home run king Barry Bonds, who played in the first game but sat out the second contest, with a video tribute between the two games.

Bonds, who hit home run no. 756 six days ago, began his career with the Pirates and played with them until 1992.

The video tribute, which lasted less than three minutes, showed Bonds' first home run with the Pirates in 1986 and a handful of other career highlights.

After the video, Bonds stepped out of the dugout and tipped his cap to the fans.

In the earlier game Paul Maholm (8-14) threw his second complete game of the season as he gave up just one run and three hits with four strikeouts to help the Pirates to a 3-1 win. Jose Castillo drove in two runs while Nate McLouth drove in the other run in the win.

San Francisco took an early 1-0 lead in the second game as Davis got a leadoff walk to start the game, stole second and third and later scored on a Randy Winn ground out.

Phelps, though, tied the game in the second as he led off the frame with a shot over the center field wall, his third home run of the season.

The Giants grabbed the lead in the sixth. With the bases loaded, Klesko ripped a 3-1 pitch into the right field stands for his 10th career grand slam and a 5-1 lead.

San Francisco added five more runs in the seventh. Lowry drove in the first run of the inning when he roped a double to center to score Kevin Frandsen. Davis followed with a double and Omar Vizquel followed with a sacrifice fly to plate Lowry. Pedro Feliz then hit a two-bagger to bring home Davis and Ortmeier belted a shot into the right field stands for a 10-1 lead.

Nady got a run back for Pittsburgh in the bottom of the seventh when he hit a pinch-hit, solo home run to make it 10-2.

Bautista added a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth to account for the final score.
