Los Angeles Dodgers (76-71) at Colorado Rockies (67-81), 8:05 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Dodgers will shoot for their fourth straight win this evening, when they resume a three-game series against the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field.

The Dodgers remained 3 1/2 games ahead of the Arizona Diamondbacks in the National League West standings with Friday's 7-2 victory in the series opener, while the D'Backs defeated the Reds. James Loney had two hits and drove in three runs, while Matt Kemp went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored for the Dodgers, who have won 11 of 12 games.

Manny Ramirez collected two hits and knocked in a run and starter Chad Billingsley allowed two runs on six hits in six innings to get the win. The right-hander has won three straight starts and is 6-1 over his last 10 trips to the mound.

Los Angeles, which is 3-1 on a 10-game road trip, will hand the ball to rookie Clayton Kershaw on Saturday. Kershaw is 1-0 over his last two starts and did not factor in the outcome of a 5-3 win over Arizona on September 7. He allowed three runs in four innings and remained at 3-5 this season in 18 starts.

The left-hander, who is 1-3 in eight road appearances, is 0-2 with a 7.88 earned run average over two starts against the Rockies. Colorado is batting .417 off of Kershaw in those meetings.

The Rockies have dropped six in a row and opened a nine-game homestand on a sour note. In last night's loss to LA, Matt Holliday clubbed a solo home run and veteran first baseman Todd Helton returned from the disabled list. Helton pinch hit and struck out, while Jeff Francis was saddled with the loss after he yielded three runs on six hits in six innings.

Jorge De La Rosa gets the nod for the Rockies on Saturday and he is 8-7 with a 5.30 ERA in 25 games (20 starts) this season. De La Rosa is 3-1 in his last four decisions and did not factor in a 7-5 loss versus Houston on September 7. He was reached for four runs in 5 1/3 innings.

The southpaw, who is 5-1 at home this season, owns an 0-2 mark with an 8.44 ERA in six lifetime meetings (two starts) versus Los Angeles.

The Dodgers are 9-7 against the Rockies this season and ended a four-game slide in the series with a 3-1 victory on August 21 at Chavez Ravine.
