Cleveland Indians (70-73) at Baltimore Orioles (64-79), 7:05 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Cleveland Indians try to continue their recent success on the road this evening, when they play the third test of a four-game series with the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards.

Cleveland won for the 12th time in its last 14 games away from home on Tuesday, as Jeremy Sowers pitched eight strong innings to lift the Indians to a 6-1 win. Kelly Shoppach finished 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles, two runs scored and an RBI for Cleveland, which bounced back from a 14-3 drubbing in the opener of the set to move within three games of .500.

Sowers (3-8) allowed just one run on four hits while walking one and fanning seven to beat the Orioles for the first time in his career.

Ramon Hernandez drove in the only run for the floundering Orioles, who managed just six hits in the game and have dropped nine of 10 and 14 of their last 16 games.

The struggling Radhames Liz (5-5) surrendered four runs -- three earned -- on eight hits in 4 2/3 innings to suffer the loss.

Heading to the hill for the Indians tonight will be left-hander Scott Lewis, who is slated to make his big league debut. Lewis, starting in place of Anthony Reyes, was 6-2 with a 2.33 ERA in 13 starts for Double-A Akron. He was 2-2 with a 2.63 ERA in four starts for Triple-A Buffalo, but finished the year with Akron so he could pitch in the postseason there.

Baltimore will counter with a southpaw of its own in 28-year-old Chris Waters, who has lost his last two decisions. Waters was tagged with the loss on Friday against Oakland, as he surrendered three runs and five hits in 5 1/3 innings, upping his record to 2-2 to go along with a 5.40 ERA.

Waters has never faced the Tribe.

These teams split a four-game series in Cleveland from August 11-14, as well as a four-game set at Camden Yards during May of the 2007 season, the Indians' last visit to Baltimore.
