Florida Marlins (44-41) at Colorado Rockies (35-51), 8:05 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Colorado Rockies try to match their longest winning streak of the season this evening when they play the second of four games against the Florida Marlins at Coors Field.

Colorado won its third straight game in the opener of this set on Thursday, as Ryan Spilborghs' two-run single in the bottom of the 11th inning lifted the Rockies to a 6-5 win.

Florida had pulled ahead in the top half of the 11th, but Colorado scored twice off of Marlins' closer Kevin Gregg (6-3) in the home half to pull out the win.

Jeff Baker belted a two-run homer and finished with four RBI for Colorado, which had dropped eight in a row before their current tear. Clint Barmes finished 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored, while Garrett Atkins had two hits and scored once.

Colorado has won four in a row twice this season, most recently from June 3-7.

Mark Redman allowed two runs on six hits over six innings in his first start for Colorado since May 6. The veteran lefty was recalled from Triple-A Colorado Springs on Wednesday after starter Jeff Francis was placed on the 15- day disabled list with shoulder inflammation. The rally made a winner out of Matt Herges (3-3), who picked up the win despite surrendering the go-ahead run in the top of the 11th.

Jorge Cantu clubbed a two-run homer for the Marlins, who have dropped two of their last three games. Cody Ross finished with three hits, while Hanley Ramirez went 2-for-5 to extend his hitting streak to 10 games.

Andrew Miller started for the Marlins and gave up three runs on five hits with five strikeouts and three walks in 6 2/3 innings for Florida, which opened a season-long 11-game road trip.

Heading to the hill tonight for the Rockies will be right-hander Greg Reynolds, who celebrated his 23rd birthday on Thursday. Reynolds lost his second straight start on Sunday in Detroit, as the Tigers reached him for four runs and 10 hits in 5 2/3 innings, dropping the rookie right-hander to 2-6 to go along with a 5.75 ERA.

Reynolds has never faced the Marlins.

Florida, meanwhile, will pin its hopes on 24-year-old lefty Scott Olsen, who is 4-4 with a 3.47 ERA. Olsen received a no-decision on Sunday against Arizona, surrendering three runs and five hits in seven innings of a 4-3 win.

Olsen, who hasn't won since beating Milwaukee back on May 6, is 1-2 lifetime against the Rockies with a 9.88 ERA in three starts.

Colorado is facing the Marlins for the first time this season, but has split the six-game season series with Florida in each of the last three years.
