Milwaukee Brewers (43-34) at Atlanta Braves (38-41), 1:10 p.m.

(Sports Network) - Jeff Suppan will try to keep the Milwaukee Brewers rolling when he leads the ballclub this afternoon in the finale of a three-game series against the Atlanta Braves at Turner Field.

The Brewers have won four in a row and will shoot for a series sweep of the Braves with Suppan on the mound. Suppan was unbeaten over four straight starts (2-0) before taking a loss on Friday versus Baltimore. He allowed six runs, three of which were earned, and seven hits in just 1 2/3 innings of work.

Suppan, a right-hander, pitched perhaps his best game of the season against the Braves on May 28 at Miller Park. He tossed eight shutout innings and held Atlanta to four hits in a 1-0 victory. Suppan, though, is just 1-4 with a 5.53 ERA in five career starts against the Braves.

He hasn't fared too well on the road either in 2008, sporting a 2-4 record with a 5.70 earned run average in eight appearances on the opposing mound.

Milwaukee received a strong effort from starter Dave Bush in Tuesday's win, as he pitched seven innings of one-run ball for the victory. Brewers closer Salomon Torres almost blew the game in the ninth by allowing a pair of runs, but held on to record his career-high 13th save.

Corey Hart and J.J. Hardy each had a double and an RBI for the Brewers, who have won eight of nine overall and improved to 2-0 on a 10-game road trip. They are 18-21 as the visitor this season.

The Braves will try to salvage the finale of this set and finish their six- game homestand with a .500 mark. They dropped to 2-3 on the residency after last night's loss, in which starter Charlie Morton was roughed up for four runs -- two earned -- on seven hits in six innings of work.

Mark Teixeira clubbed a two-run homer in the ninth inning for the Braves, who have lost four of six overall and fell to 27-14 at home this season. Omar Infante had the other Braves' RBI.

Jorge Campillo will handle pitching duties for Atlanta today. He is 2-2 with a 2.54 earned run average in 21 games (7 starts) this season, but has lost two straight trips to the hill. Campillo last pitched Friday versus Seattle and was handed the loss, permitting four runs and eight hits over 6 1/3 frames.

In his only appearance against Milwaukee on May 29, the right-handed Campillo tossed five innings and gave up just one run and four hits in an 8-1 triumph at Miller Park.

Milwaukee won two of three games against the Braves from May 27-29 at Miller Park. Atlanta went 3-1 at home against the Brewers last season.
