Houston Astros (33-39) at Baltimore Orioles (36-34), 7:05 p.m.

(Sports Network) - Veteran right-hander Shawn Chacon seeks to end a three- start skid tonight when the Houston Astros visit Camden Yards for the finale of a three-game interleague series with the host Baltimore Orioles.

A 30-year-old native of Anchorage, Alaska, Chacon improved to 2-0 by defeating the St. Louis Cardinals on May 27, when he allowed seven hits and two runs over seven innings of an 8-2 Houston triumph.

He's 0-2 with a no-decision since, however, including a one-inning stint against Milwaukee and a five-inning shellacking by the Cardinals in which he combined to give up 12 hits and 11 runs in six innings.

He fared better in his last outing but nonetheless recorded a no-decision, surrendering just three hits and a run in 6 1/3 innings of the Astros' 2-1 loss to the New York Yankees on June 13 in Houston.

Chacon is 2-1 with a save in four career meetings with the Orioles, posting a 4.02 earned run average in 15 2/3 innings.

Baltimore lefty Brian Burres will tie a personal one-season best with his next 2008 win.

The former 2000 31st-round draft pick reached the majors and made 11 relief appearances with the Orioles in 2006. He pitched in 37 games and made 17 starts in 2007, going 6-8 with a 5.95 ERA in 121 innings.

He improved to 5-5 in 2008 with his last outings, a 9-6 defeat of Pittsburgh on June 13, in which he allowed eight hits and six runs in six innings.

Burres has never faced the Astros.

On Wednesday, Kevin Millar's single up the middle drove in Melvin Mora with the game-winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning, giving the Orioles a 2-1 win over the flailing Astros.

Millar's single made a winner of Chad Bradford (3-2), who threw two scoreless innings in relief of Jeremy Guthrie, who held the Astros to three hits and a run over eight frames, with eight strikeouts and a walk.

Luke Scott's homer accounted for the other run for the Orioles, who have taken the first two games of this interleague set, and four of five overall.

Jose Valverde (4-2) surrendered Millar's RBI single in the 10th to take the loss.

Brian Moehler allowed only a run and five hits over 6 1/3 innings, fanning four and walking two. Lance Berkman's solo homer provided the offense for Houston, which ran its losing streak to seven, and has dropped 16 of 19 overall.

Baltimore swept a three-game series at Camden Yards the last time these teams played back in 2005.
