Cleveland Indians (33-37) at Colorado Rockies (28-42), 9:05 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Cleveland Indians will hit the road for six games this evening, starting with the first of three straight interleague matchups against the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field.

Cleveland has won five of its last seven games and took two of three contests versus San Diego over the weekend. In Sunday's 7-3 triumph over the Padres at Progressive Field, Ben Francisco belted a three-run homer and Grady Sizemore also went deep to power the Tribe.

Starting pitcher C.C. Sabathia earned the win with eight solid innings, allowing three runs on six hits with 10 strikeouts and one walk.

The Indians hope starter Paul Byrd can duplicate Sabathia's performance tonight, when he toes the rubber in the opener of this series.

Byrd, who is 3-6 with a 4.89 ERA in 13 starts this season, is only 1-3 with a 7.18 earned run average over his previous five outings. He yielded six runs -- five earned -- and six hits in three innings during an 8-5 loss in his most recent trip to the hill versus Minnesota on Wednesday.

The right-hander has given up an American League-high 17 home runs this season, and owns a 1-3 record and 5.03 ERA in nine career games (4 starts) against Colorado.

Cleveland is 13-19 as the guest in 2008.

Colorado has dropped three of its last five games, including Monday's 7-1 setback versus the Atlanta Braves in a makeup game originally scheduled for April 10. Matt Holiday and Garrett Atkins both had two hits and Scott Podsednik recorded the lone RBI for the Rockies.

Rockies starter Ubaldo Jimenez absorbed the loss after he surrendered three runs -- two earned -- in five innings to lose his sixth consecutive decision.

Colorado is 0-1 on a seven-game homestand and 16-17 at Coors Field this season.

Rookie Greg Reynolds gets the nod for the Rockies tonight and is 1-4 with a 6.69 earned run average in seven starts this season. Reynolds was pounded by San Francisco his last time out on Thursday, when he yielded eight runs and 10 hits in just 3 1/3 frames of a 10-7 loss.

The righty will face the Indians for the first time on Tuesday.

Colorado is 4-2 versus the American League this season, while the Indians have won just two of six games against the Senior Circuit. Cleveland is 104-95 all- time in interleague play, compared to the Rockies' 80-89 mark.

Cleveland is 7-5 all-time against Colorado.
