Baltimore Orioles (32-31) at Boston Red Sox (40-27), 7:05 p.m.

(Sports Network) - A successful road trip has Baltimore back over .500. Tonight, the Orioles will try for their second series win over the Boston Red Sox this season when the two American League East rivals meet for the middle test of a three-game series at Fenway Park.

Baltimore was 26-25 after a win over the Yankees on May 27, but four consecutive losses -- including three to Boston -- from May 28-June 1 dropped the Orioles back under .500. The club rebounded with a win over Boston and then began a nine-game road trip by taking two of three in both Minnesota and Toronto.

The Orioles then improved to 5-2 on the swing with Tuesday's 10-6 victory that handed the Red Sox just their second loss in their last 17 home games. Aubrey Huff started Baltimore's rally with a two-run single in the seventh inning that tied the game, before Kevin Millar's sac fly later in the frame put Baltimore ahead for good.

The O's added three insurance runs in the ninth frame, with Jay Payton driving in one, followed by Ramon Hernandez's two-run single. Brian Roberts and Freddie Bynum also had two RBI each in the victory.

With David Ortiz still sidelined with a wrist injury, Manny Ramirez continued his torrid hitting. Ramirez homered in his fourth straight game against Baltimore on Tuesday while also extending his hitting streak to 14 games, matching Dustin Pedroia for the longest hitting streak by a Boston player this year.

Ramirez is batting .389 (21-for-54) during the streak with seven homers, 20 RBI and 13 runs scored. Pedroia also had a 14-game run in mid-April

J.D. Drew also homered for the Red Sox, who lost for only the third time in their last 11 games overall while falling to 5-2 on a nine-game homestand and 26-7 overall at Fenway Park. Pedroia added two hits and scored twice while Mike Lowell and Kevin Youkilis added an RBI apiece in defeat.

Jacoby Ellsbury returned to the lineup last night for Boston after missing three straight games due to a wrist injury.

Garrett Olson starts for the Orioles and he is 2-0 over his last three starts with a 1.96 earned run average. That run includes a no-decision against Boston on May 31, when he gave up solo homers to Ortiz and Pedroia. He faced the Twins on Thursday and got the victory after allowing two runs on eight hits over 6 1/3 innings.

The 24-year-old left-hander, who is 5-1 with a 3.86 ERA this year, is 0-2 in four career starts versus Boston. In his only start at Fenway, he allowed four runs in 5 1/3 frames.

The Red Sox counter with Bartolo Colon, who is coming off his first loss of the season. The right-hander won his first three starts, including a win over Baltimore on June 1, before giving up six runs (3 earned) on eight hits over five innings of a setback to Seattle on Friday. Colon didn't help his own cause, committing two errors in the contest.

The 35-year-old Colon gave up four runs when he faced the O's on June 1, improving to 9-6 with a 3.40 ERA in 18 career starts against them.

Baltimore has won four of seven versus Boston this year, though the club picked up just its fifth win in its last 20 trips to Fenway Park.
