Seattle Mariners (22-40) at Boston Red Sox (39-26), 1:35 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Boston Red Sox will try to continue their dominance at Fenway Park when they host the Seattle Mariners in the finale of a three-game series.

The Red Sox have done a terrific job on their home field, winning 25 of their first 31 games at Fenway Park.

That trend continued on Saturday, as J.D. Drew finished 3-for-5 with a homer, two RBI and three runs scored, helping Boston to an 11-3 win. Mike Lowell and Kevin Youkilis drove in two runs apiece for the Red Sox, who rebounded from Friday's 8-0 loss to record their seventh win in the last nine games overall.

Manny Ramirez, back from a one-game rest for an injury suffered on Thursday, hit a two-run home run, scored twice and drew three walks. Alex Cora and Coco Crisp knocked in a run each for Boston, which has won 14 of its last 15 home contests.

Tim Wakefield (4-4) notched the win for the Sox, yielding five hits and two runs over seven innings, fanning six.

Raul Ibanez drove in two and Miguel Cairo one for the Mariners, losers in five of their last six. Seattle fell to 22-40 this season, the worst mark in the majors.

Miguel Batista (3-7) dropped his third consecutive decision, charged with six hits and five runs -- four earned -- with six walks over 4 1/3 frames.

This afternoon the Red Sox will turn to young Justin Masterson, who will try for his third consecutive win. The last time Masterson was on the mound he was not overly dominant, but the right-hander was able to lead Boston to a 7-4 win over Tampa. In the victory, the 23-year-old tossed six innings, allowing four runs on six hits, while striking out five batters.

Masterson has done all his work at Fenway Park, and in 18 1/3 innings of duty, the young phenom has allowed six runs and has struck out 14 batters, while walking nine.

Erik Bedard was brought to Seattle to lead a strong pitching staff. However, the southpaw has been inconsistent at best, posting a 4-4 ledger with a 4.47 ERA. Bedard did not fare well in his last start, falling to the Angels, 5-4. In the setback, the 29-year-old lasted just 3 1/3 innings, and surrendered five runs on seven hits and three walks.

Bedard's biggest obstacles have occurred on the road, as he is just 1-2 in four starts and has an atrocious ERA of 8.84. One of the few bright spots for Bedard this season came against the Red Sox, as the hurler threw seven shut out innings against Boston, limiting the team to just two hits, while striking out eight batters.

In his career against the Red Sox, Bedard has enjoyed mild success, posting a 504 record with a 4.43 ERA.

Boston has won five of the last seven over Seattle at Fenway and upped its record to 16-6 since 2003.
