Pittsburgh Pirates (24-28) at Cincinnati Reds (25-28), 7:10 p.m.

(Sports Network) - Right-hander Aaron Harang seeks his 12th career win against Pittsburgh tonight when the Cincinnati Reds entertain the Pirates in the finale of a three-game series at Great American Ball Park.

Harang, a 16-game winner in each of the last two seasons, is 11-3 in 17 career starts against the Pirates, allowing 109 hits and 49 earned runs in 111 innings.

In that stretch, he's walked just 18 batters while striking out 103.

The 30-year-old Californian has not faced Pittsburgh this season and is looking to end a three-start winless streak overall.

In his last outing, on May 25 in San Diego, he allowed two hits over four scoreless innings of relief in the Reds' 18-inning loss to the Padres.

Ex-Red Phil Dumatrait faces his old team for the second time this season with Pittsburgh.

The 26-year-old lefty pitched an inning of scoreless relief against Cincinnati on April 13 in a 9-1 Pittsburgh victory.

He made his major-league debut with Cincinnati last season and was 0-4 in six starts with a 15.00 earned run average in 18 innings.

Dumatrait picked up his first career victory on May 7, allowing three hits in 5 2/3 scoreless innings of Pittsburgh's 3-1 defeat of San Francisco.

On Wednesday, David Ross went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run and four runs batted in, while Bronson Arroyo threw six strong innings as the Reds trounced Pittsburgh, 9-1.

Arroyo (4-4) was moved up two days in the rotation after Harang and Edinson Volquez were both used in relief in Sunday's 12-9 loss to San Diego. He allowed a run on just three hits, striking out six and walking four.

Joey Votto went 3-for-3 with a double, two RBI and three runs scored for the Reds, who have won nine straight at home. Jerry Hairston Jr. went 3-for-5, drove in a run and scored a run, while Edwin Encarnacion added an RBI double.

Tom Gorzelanny (4-5) struggled through the shortest outing of his career, surrendering six runs on four hits and two walks in two-third of an inning for the Pirates, losers of two straight. Franquelis Osoria allowed just one run in 4 1/3 innings of relief and drove in the only run for Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh swept a three-game series versus Cincinnati at PNC Park from April 11-13 this season.
