(Sports Network) - Tim Hudson tries for his fifth win in his last six starts this evening when the Atlanta Braves kick off a six-game road trip against the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park.
Atlanta completed a season-long 11-game homestand in winning fashion on Monday, as Mark Teixeira went 2-for-4 with a double and four runs batted, lifting Atlanta past Arizona, 7-3, in the finale of a four-game set at Turner Field.
Gregor Blanco, who got the start in center field in place of a slumping Mark Kotsay, went 3-for-3 with a walk and a run scored for Atlanta, which won eight games on its homestand.
Manny Acosta (3-1) took the win after throwing two perfect innings in relief of Jair Jurrjens, who gave up three runs on eight hits in 4 2/3 frames.
Hudson has been tremendous for Atlanta this season, posting a 7-3 mark to go along with a 2.97 earned run average. Hudson earned the win on Thursday against the New York Mets, surrendering a pair of runs and seven hits over eight innings. He also struck out four without walking a batter.
The 32-year-old righty is 2-2 lifetime against the Brewers with a 3.38 ERA in five starts.
Milwaukee will counter with right-hander Dave Bush, who is 1-5 with a 6.56 ERA on the year. Bush was lit up in his last start on Thursday in Pittsburgh, as the Pirates banged him around for six runs and nine hits in five innings.
He has given up at least five runs in five of his last eight starts.
Bush received a no-decision in his only other start against the Braves, allowing a run and six hits with six strikeouts and no walks in seven innings.

Fielder finished 2-for-4 with a double and a run batted in, while Jason Kendall knocked in a run for the Brewers, who earned a split in the four-game set and won for the fourth time in their last seven games.
