Philadelphia Phillies (27-23) at Houston Astros (28-22), 7:05 p.m.

(Sports Network) - Brett Myers tries to snap a six-start winless streak tonight when the Philadelphia Phillies continue their four-game series with the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park.

Myers, who hasn't won beating the Astros back on April 17, lost his third straight start on Monday against the Washington Nationals. Myers gave up three runs and eight hits over six innings of that one, as he fell to 2-5 on the season to go along with a 5.76 earned run average.

The 27-year-old right-hander is 0-4 over the course of his drought, while pitching to a 7.08 ERA.

Myers gave up just a run and five hits over seven innings earlier in the year to the Astros and is 3-2 lifetime against them with a 4.91 ERA in seven starts.

Houston will pin its hopes on righty Brian Moehler, who is 1-1 with a 4.76 ERA. Moehler was tagged with the loss on Monday against the Chicago Cubs, as he surrendered three runs and seven hits in five innings.

Moehler has faced the Phillies 10 times (six starts) and is 1-3 against them with a 6.94 ERA.

In the second game of this series on Friday, Hunter Pence's two solo home runs and Brandon Backe's performance on the hill allowed Houston to survive a late rally in a 4-3 conquest of the Phillies.

Backe (4-5) lasted 7 1/3 innings, allowing just one run on six hits while striking out six for Houston, which has won three of four. Jose Valverde, who was nearly knocked out of the game after a line drive caromed off his chest in the ninth inning, recorded his 15th save despite giving up two runs.

Lance Berkman added a triple and a run scored, while Carlos Lee and Michael Bourn plated a run apiece for the victors.

Phillies starter Adam Eaton (0-3) remained winless despite his fifth quality start of the season, as he allowed three runs on eight hits in his seven innings of work.

Pat Burrell was 2-for-4 with a home run and two runs scored, and Jimmy Rollins recorded three hits and knocked in a run as Philly stopped a three-game winning streak.

Philadelphia won two of three games versus Houston from April 15-17 at Citizens Bank Park. The Phillies are 10-7 over the previous 17 matchups with the Astros, with a 5-3 mark as the guest.
