Milwaukee Brewers (22-26) at Washington Nationals (21-28), 7:10 p.m.

(Sports Network) - Right-hander Seth McClung makes his first big-league start since 2006 tonight when the Milwaukee Brewers visit Nationals Park for the second game of a four-game series with the Washington Nationals.

McClung, who's made 11 appearances out of the bullpen this season and was exclusively a reliever in 14 outings in 2007, gets the call instead of teammate Carlos Villanueva, who was shifted to the bullpen by manager Ned Yost.

The burly 6-foot-6, 252-pounder, who has never faced the Nationals, has started just 37 times in 110 major-league outings, and none since he started 15 times in 39 games for Tampa Bay in 2006.

This season, he's allowed just eight runs in 20 1/3 relief innings overall, and only three in 10 games since he surrendered five to the Cincinnati Reds on April 9.

For Washington, lefty John Lannan looks for a second straight win.

He defeated the Baltimore Orioles on May 18 at Camden Yards, allowing just four hits and one run in 7 1/3 innings, walking one and striking out five.

Previously, he'd been touched for 12 hits and four runs in six innings of a 6-3 loss to the New York Mets on May 13.

Lannan, who reached the majors with six starts in 2007, has never faced the Brewers.

On Friday, Jesus Flores' two-run double highlighted a four-run six inning that lifted Washington over Milwaukee, 5-1. Wily Mo Pena added a solo homer, while Ryan Zimmerman and Lastings Milledge each added an RBI for the Nationals, who snapped a two-game skid.

Odalis Perez allowed just one run on five hits before leaving with a blister after five innings. Brian Sanches (1-0), who was called up from Triple-A Columbus earlier in the day, struck out the side while allowing one hit in the sixth to earn the win.

Saul Rivera, Luis Ayala and Jon Rauch finished things for the Nats with an inning of scoreless relief apiece.

Jeff Suppan (2-4) allowed five runs -- one earned -- on just three hits in 5 2/3 innings en route to the loss for the Brewers, who have dropped seven of their past nine games.

The right-hander also accounted for Milwaukee's only offense with an RBI single in the fifth.

Milwaukee won four of its six matchups with the Nationals last season.
