Cincinnati Reds (21-24) at Los Angeles Dodgers (23-21), 10:10 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Cincinnati Reds will try to get back on the winning track when they resume a three-game series tonight against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Chavez Ravine.

The Reds entered Monday's opener of a seven-game road trip to Los Angeles and San Diego riding a season-high six-game winning streak thanks to consecutive sweeps versus Florida and Cleveland. The ride came to a screeching halt with yesterday's 6-5 loss at Dodger Stadium, but Adam Dunn continued to swing a hot bat by clubbing a two-run homer and adding an RBI single. Dunn has homered in a career-high five straight games to match a club record shared by current teammate Ken Griffey Jr., Johnny Bench and Ted Kluszewski.

Brandon Phillips was 4-for-5 in the loss, scored two runs and knocked in a run for Cincinnati, which fell to 7-15 as the guest in 2008. Reds starter Bronson Arroyo surrendered five runs -- three earned -- on nine hits in five innings for the no decision. Reliever David Weathers allowed the deciding run on Blake DeWitt's base hit in the ninth to suffer the setback.

Taking the mound for Cincinnati on Tuesday will be Matt Belisle, who is 1-3 with a 7.45 ERA in four starts this season.

Belisle is riding a personal two-start losing streak, has given up at least two runs in each of his outings and has yet to pitch past the sixth inning this season. He last toed the rubber on May 10 at the New York Mets and was rocked for six runs -- five earned -- through five innings of a 12-6 loss.

The right-handed native of Austin, Texas made his season debut on April 21 versus the Dodgers at Great American Ballpark. Belisle probably wishes he hadn't after surrendering seven runs -- five earned -- on 12 hits in just four innings of a 9-3 decision. He is 0-1 with a 12.54 earned run average through six career games (one start) against Los Angeles.

DeWitt was the hero for LA on Monday and drove in two runs, while Matt Kemp finished 4-for-4 with a walk and an RBI in a winning effort. Dodgers starting pitcher Brad Penny, who had his start pushed back a day due to stiffness in his right arm, gave up nine hits and five runs in six innings. Takashi Saito later hurled a perfect ninth frame to pick up the win.

LA opened a six-game homestand versus the Reds and Cardinals on a good note, and owns a 12-9 mark at Dodger Stadium this season.

Dodgers starter Chad Billingsley has been very productive as of late, having pitched to a 3-1 mark and 2.52 ERA in his last four outings. Billingsley squared off with Milwaukee on May 15 at Miller Park and hurled seven strong frames of one-run ball in a 7-2 triumph.

The right-hander, who is 3-5 with a 4.34 ERA in 10 games (eight starts) this season, hasn't fared too well at Chavez Ravine this season, going 1-3 with a 4.84 earned run average in five games (four starts).

Billingsley is 0-1 with a 1.42 ERA in two career games (one start) against Cincinnati.

The Dodgers sport a 16-6 mark over the past 22 matchups with the Reds. Los Angeles is 9-2 against Cincinnati at Chavez Ravine over that time.
