Milwaukee Brewers (16-16) at Florida Marlins (18-14), 7:10 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Florida Marlins are back on top in the NL East and will resume their nine-game homestand tonight versus the Milwaukee Brewers in the second installment of this three-game set from Dolphin Stadium.

Florida is tied with Philadelphia in the division standings, but sit percentage points ahead of the defending NL East champions. The Marlins have won two straight and three of four games, including Tuesday's 3-0 victory over the Brewers in the opener of the series.

Marlins young starter Scott Olsen allowed just two hits over 8 2/3 shutout innings and struck out eight batters. He issued four walks and fell just one out short of his first-ever complete game. Closer Kevin Gregg only needed one pitch to record his sixth save in the ninth inning.

Luis Gonzalez went 4-for-4 and knocked in a run, while Mike Jacobs belted a two-run homer in the win. Florida stars Dan Uggla and Hanley Ramirez both scored a run to help the cause.

Taking the ball for Fredi Gonzalez's ballclub tonight will be rookie Burke Badenhop, who is 0-2 with a 7.20 earned run average in five games, four of which have been starts.

The Bowling Green product has started each of his last four trips to the mound after opening the 2008 campaign in a reserve role. On May 1 versus the Los Angeles Dodgers, Badenhop yielded three runs in six innings of a 5-3 loss for the no-decision. He has given up at least three runs in each of his starts.

Badenhop, a right-hander and former 2005 draft pick of Detroit, has never faced Milwaukee.

The Brewers have dropped four in a row and fell to 2-5 on a nine-game road trip after last night's blanking by the Marlins. Prince Fielder and Ryan Braun had the only hits for the Brewers. Starter Jeff Suppan wasn't much better in the loss by allowing three runs on eight hits in five-plus innings of work.

Struggling Brewers pitcher Dave Bush gets the ball on Wednesday, and is 0-3 with a 6.46 ERA in five games (four starts) this season.

Bush last appeared in a reserve role on Saturday at Houston, hurling a scoreless inning during a 6-2 loss for a no-decision. In his last start on April 23 versus Philadelphia, Bush did not factor in the outcome of a 5-4 victory after yielding four runs and eight hits in six frames.

The right-hander has given up at least three runs in each of his four starts this season, and is 1-1 with a 5.73 ERA in two career starts against the Marlins.

The Marlins won two of three games against the Brewers at Miller Park from April 25-27 this season.
