Philadelphia Phillies (72-62) at Florida Marlins (58-77), 7:05 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The red-hot Philadelphia Phillies will try to stay on the winning path when they continue a three-game series tonight against the Florida Marlins from Dolphin Stadium.

Philadelphia has won six in a row and is fresh off a four-game sweep of the NL East-rival New York Mets. The Phillies kept the momentum going on Friday night, as they notched a 9-2 victory in this series opener in South Beach.

Chase Utley went 2-for-3 with three RBI and Pat Burrell knocked in a pair of runs for Philadelphia, which is still two games behind the Mets for the top spot in the division standings. New York defeated Atlanta on Friday night.

Jimmy Rollins scored twice and drove in a run and rookie starter Kyle Kendrick hurled seven strong innings for the win, allowing two runs on six hits with four strikeouts and a walk.

The Phillies, who are also two games behind Arizona in the wild card race, will send J.D. Durbin to the hill on Saturday. Durbin is 6-3 with a 4.07 ERA in 13 games (seven starts) with Philly this season and 2-1 over his last three starts.

He defeated the New York Mets on Monday, holding the division rivals to a pair of runs in 6 1/3 innings during a 9-2 triumph at Citizens Bank Park.

The right-hander faced Florida for the first time in his career on August 7 at Philadelphia. Durbin pitched three shutout innings of relief with two strikeouts and a pair of walks in an 11-1 triumph in South Philly.

Taking the ball for the Marlins this evening will be Byung-Hyun Kim, who is 7-6 with a 5.44 ERA with Colorado, Florida and Arizona this season. Kim went 0-1 with a 23.63 earned run average in two starts with the D'backs before the Marlins re-signed the South Korean a few weeks ago.

Kim last toed the rubber on Tuesday against Atlanta and collected the win with a scoreless inning of relief. Florida won the game by a 4-3 score.

In 17 career appearances (three starts) against Philadelphia, the right-hander is 4-2 with a 3.66 earned run average. Kim last faced the Phillies on May 23 and did not record a decision, yielding four runs over 5 1/3 innings in an 8-7 setback at Dolphin Stadium.

Marlins starter Sergio Mitre yielded six runs over just 3 1/3 frames last night for the loss, Florida's 14th defeat in 16 tries. Miguel Cabrera had an RBI in defeat and Alfredo Amezaga added two hits.

Philadelphia is 7-6 against the Marlins this season, with the Marlins winning four of seven as the host. The Phillies are 30-21 versus the Fish since the start of the 2005 season.
